Hello. guys have been a while since my last blog, so without further due today, I will tell you my story bout the journey that starts today, who's the journey? Mine, of course.

My journey to becoming a black belt IOS developer, a true senior IOS developer, and this is an exciting journey for my life because it feels like I found my way of life.

Background. I was graduated from university in March 2019, and I've been working since May 2019 as an IOS developer, it's been almost 2 years and a half till august 2021, since this blog posted on that month.

For someone who doesn't want to work as a programmer in the first place, I am amazed at myself standing in my position today. you must be wondering why I'm still working as a programmer? It's another story, I'll tell you next time. Peace ✌️

Long story short, I've been learning IOS Development autodidact through courses and experience in my company. My struggle is that I don't get friends for sharing knowledge and correcting my works, so I just keep working with my style.

Until last year, I realize that every time I wrote or read my code, I'm telling myself how bad I'm at coding and I don't have the technical skills to give my best results. Since then I started looking for best code practices, even I was looking for a new opportunity at a big tech company, that has a lot of Senior IOS Developers and I hope to get a mentor to upgrade my coding skills in that place.

In September 2020, I found this youtube channel, the name is Essential Developer, a channel hosted by two senior IOS developers, making videos about IOS development, and I could learn new things by watching their videos, it was a huge help to understand how the logic in coding works and the rule in writing code since then.

1 month after that, I found. They are making a course for professional IOS developers, It is called IOS Lead Essentials, and I got shocked by reading the price, it's written 1597 $, was a huge price for me back then. so I don't care about the course, but one thing that ticking in my head is I need to grow up in IOS development to survive in this industry.

So almost one year August 2021 I found myself their crash course for IOS development, it's like a trailer for the IOS Lead Essential course, and I follow their small course, it's only 3 videos, the duration of 1 - 2 hours for each and moves my heart, this is what I need, this is what I want to become. A true senior IOS lead developer.

So August 9, 2021, it's the day I pay for the course, I've been asking my inner circle could I have to take this course, because it's a huge amount of money, but yeah I give it a shot and set a commitment to my self, that I want to be better!

The onboarding part of the course gives me the spirit to keep learning and giving my best, to over-deliver things, and how to fight in my journey, I will make a blog, so it will help me to remember the things that I've been learning and sharing to you guys, how the thinking process about the course that I've been learning.

I like how Mike and Caio explaining their thinking process in solving the problem in the code, it makes me understand the whole concept about everything in the video. it just makes sense.
